Protect your entire perimeter! |
|
|
|
Until now, detecting intruders in large open spaces has been a
problem. Whether you are a farmer trying to discourage trespassers, a
construction company protecting a building site after hours, or a
business with a large yard, the SolarBeam Perimeter Protector offers
an ideal solution.
Invisible laser beams, up to 200 metres long, surround your
property. When a beam is broken, a radio signal is sent back to the
receiver in your house, office or workshop which then activates your
existing home alarm (or phones you) to let you know an intruder has
been detected.

The SolarBeam Perimeter Protector can be used for
multiple situations:
Construction sites
Sports facilities
Industrial yards
Farm perimeters and
remote buildings
Horticulture units
Lifestyle blocks
The SolarBeam Perimeter Protector is also compatible
with the Auto Dialer and GSM Auto Dialer. See below for more details. |

More about the SolarBeam units
The beam transmitter and receiver units are fully
self-contained with built in solar panels and battery backup to
power them. Combined with the units’ small size this makes for
very easy, inconspicuous, installation. They can be mounted on a
post or a building wall.
The SolarBeam is both wireless and solar powered so you can set it
up anywhere, even up to 500 metres away from the receiver unit*, without
the hassle and expense of finding a power source. And, once fully
charged, the Solarbeam can work continuously for more than 30 days
without sunlight!
*NOTE: re radio path – the SolarBeam maybe installed be up to
500 metres from the receiver under optimum conditions i.e. clear
line of sight with no obstructions or interfering signals. The
presence of obstructions or interfering signals (including other
wireless devices and electric fence noise) will reduce the maximum
possible range. If obstructions are a problem talk to us about
using our Booster Box to overcome the problem.
The rechargeable batteries in the beam units have a finite life.
This life will depend on a number of factors including the amount
of sunlight the unit receives, how often the unit is triggered and
how accurately the units are aligned. NOTE: As battery life is
dependent on conditions of use, batteries are not covered by the
warranty.

More about the 8 Zone Receiver
One receiver can be used with up to eight separately identifiable
SolarBeam pairs, so you can easily cover entire properties including
remote buildings (eg. barns, separate garages) or multiple
entrances. There is a separate relay contact on the receiver for
each SolarBeam so each one may be connected to a separate zone on
your wired alarm system. If you require more than eight SolarBeams,
then multiple receivers may be used. |
